canción que Los Tigres del Norte lanzaron en octubre. Es
bien padre la rola (bueno, siendo de Los Tigres, ¿cómo que
no?) pero quizás no te has fijado en los raíces de su
letra. Esta balada de la narcotraficante Teresa Mendoza, "tía
muy pesada…nacida allá en Sinaloa", sus compinches y
rivales se basa en un libro bastante entretenido y exitoso

October 2001. It's a great record—hey,
it's from Los Tigres, after all—but
perhaps you haven't stopped to think about the origins of
its lyrics. This ballad of the drug queenpin Teresa
Mendoza, "one tough lady...born there in Sinaloa," her
cohorts and her rivals is based on an entertaining and
big-selling book by Arturo Pérez-Reverte.
